Chemical Peels
Riposante Esthetics Skin Care has chosen chemical peels from Physician's Choice of Arizona, Inc. (dba PCA Advanced Skin Care Systems). These treatments are gentle, non-toxic light to medium range peels. They will help stimulate, firm and tighten the skin.  There is a wide range of treatments to address a wide range of skin types and conditions such as skin strengthening, minimizing fine lines and wrinkles and help to even the skin tone. They can effectively treat acne, pigment disorders, aging skin and photo-damaged skin depending on which treatment is selected. Unlike a glycolic peel, these peels are not neutralized, washed off with water or timed. They are applied in multiple layers and based upon the individual needs of the client.  They are "skin friendly" and in most cases some results are seen immediately with very little or no "downtime" after the treatment. These are cosmetic treatments and no medical claims are expressed or implied.

Although you may have an individual "Pumpkin Peel" for an effective antioxidant keratolytic (exfoliating) treatment and therefore a nice smooth "glow", these treatments are designed to be performed in a series of 4-8 treatments usually at intervals of every 3 weeks.

As many factors enter into choosing the best peel for each individual client including detailed education of the client a consultation is required prior to scheduling one of these treatments--this applies to both new and existing clients. This consultation needs to take place approximately two weeks prior to the first treatment.  This consultation includes cleansing, skin analysis and in-depth conversation regarding the clients skin and expectations as well as education regarding a home care regime that is crucial to the success of the outcome.

In order to assure the best results of these treatments purchase of some home care products specific for use during the chemical peel process is essential.  By using these products for the duration of your series of peels I can more effectively monitor your outcome. I will have knowledge of the products you are using and their response to your specific skin type. Additionally some of these products are designed specifically to calm and soothe the skin following a chemical peel. These products are products you can continue to use and that will continue to benefit your skin even after your peel series is complete so no need to worry about product waste.
